The ACLU of Delaware, established in 1961, is the state affiliate of the national ACLU. Through education, litigation, and community outreach we work to preserve and strengthen the individual rights and liberties of every person in Delaware.
Founded in 1920, the American Civil Liberties Union is the nation's foremost guardian of liberty. We are a non-profit, non-partisan, private organization with 53 affiliates throughout the nation. Our work is devoted exclusively to the defense and promotion of individual rights guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States.
